Okay so here I am on the laptop literary dropping with lime
juice as we speak, why you may ask? Because I have heard a lot of good things
about lemon and hair care and wanting to try it out again, but I didn’t have a
lemon I had a line but I figure it’ll do, and mostly for this experiment I want to see how it’ll handle dandruff. A
lemon juice treatment seemed to work before I don’t really know about lime but
I’m not sure what’s up with dandruff in general.
It seems like I can go for months and be fine but every now
and then it will show up but in general it is much more rare then before my vegan
diet( hmm...). I tried to Google stuff
to figure it out but I’m still not sure way it seem so unpredictable. I’ve wondered if it could have anything to do
with what I’m eating or not eating (nutrition wise) at the time, or maybe I
could narrowing it down to stress. Because this month as been feel of stressful
stuff which may have been affecting me more than I thought, lost my text book,
such a bunch of “bad luck” but it is good luck also because I can learn from
it. For example, as if this month wasn’t bad enough lost my final paper for a
class ( it didn’t save correctly) I put so much work on redoing, but on the upside I think I finally discovered what might have
something to do with my hair issues:-D! Maybe… :-) maybe… :/? Anyway I told myself I will not be discouraged
about starting over and I thought I little hair prep would give me a little
break and relaxation- although I’m actually writing this while
relaxing form writing which kinda defeats the point…. So here are some things I learn about Lemons and
hair care from ehow.com although there are lots of different sources and advice.
First, it is claimed “Washing your hair with a mildly acidic
product such as lemon juice helps exfoliate the scalp to prevent dandruff.
Other home remedies include mixing equal parts lemon juice and water and
soaking a brush in the mixture for one hour.” (Kanobi, Breann N.D) (Which
I probably should have read before putting the undiluted stuff in my hair, my scalp
feels strange-tingly and stuff).
Next it says rubbing
lemon juice on the hair it stimulates blood flow to the scalp
and it helps growth and oil production( I don’t know about the oil part,
but I think just messaging one’s scalp alone is capable of aiding the formal but whatever).
The list of uses goes on I’ve used lemon to wash a stain out of a top
even, I like experimenting using natural
stuff. I had dyed my dark hair lighter with henna leaves which turned out to be
not as temporary in color as I bargained for, but I learned. anyway, was a
started to wash by first removing tangles as my hair is highly textured and wetting
it which was encouraged hair to coiled back on itself would make it worse, when
I started to wash my hair after I noticed there was a lot of product build up. And
I used a lot of Giovanni shampoo more than usual so the thought came to me, although
I had experienced “real” dandruff now before
I wonder how much of this flakey stuff
was a result of me getting carried away with my curly cream pudding last time? We may never know. But you can read some of
what I did below. :-) But I recommend you just Google it yourself there is so
much more I out there, this is just a citation for this post.

Ps. and yes, I did substitute
a lime just in case you thought that was a typo at the beginning) ;-)
